Bangkok Massage around Asoke and Sukhumvit

Sukhumvit Soi 18 is a quiet area with many older budget and midclass hotels. It's half way walking from Terminal 21 to Emporium. Many smaller Sukhumvit massage shops can be found along this street surrounded by old trees providing shadow on sunny days. Most of them are very cheap due to high competition. Two hours of traditional Thai massage run up to 300 or 350 Baht, oil massage will cost as little as 500 to 600 Baht for the same time. That's much cheaper than shops on lower Sukhumvit and pretty much inline with therapy providers outside of tourist areas.

Few weeks ago Asoke blog already featured the other branch of Orchid in Soi 24. Today, we deal about Orchid Massage on Soi 31. You need to walk from Sukhumvit inside Soi 31 until you hit the first large intersection. This backsoi is known for it's transit traffic flowing north to soi 3 while paypassing congested main streets. Watch traffic carefully when crossing street. Orchid and Sakura massage shops are on the left side of this intersection.

This Thong Lor massage shop has replaced Venus Massage , that was already featured on our guide two years ago. Not much has changed in this shop. The old blue sign is replaced by a new orange sign and fresh staff is at work. Prices are still the same with 400/600/800 Baht for 60/90/120 minutes of oil massage. Pretty's cubicles are in the same condition and of same dimension as before. During most times around 8 attendants are available for therapy sessions. One drink is free - a nice gesture towards patrons.

Robinson's department store on Soi 19 of Sukhumvit Road is a popular place for shopping and convenience purchases. It's very busy because of Tops supermarket in it's basement. Once you descent down to basement there is a famous foot massage shop with reasonable prices: Art Of Massage. It's open until 11 Pm every day including weekends. Wonderful way to relax for an hour during shopping sessions next to Westin Hotel and Terminal 21.

This big illuminated sign board can be seen on Thong Lor close to Soi 3 and Exotica night club and Sazanka spa. Pretty Massage Idol Cute offers set massage courses with idol models. Japanese refer to idols as actresses featured in adult movies. Sounds inviting, doesn't it?

There is a new shop inside the body rub square at the back entrance of Emporium mall: Orchid 24. It's right beside EZ, Mango and Pink. Previously it was named Sakura and been replaced by Orchid. The new shop is much better than the old one. There are many more attractive bodyrub attendants available and it is a little bit cheaper than next by Pink Massage BKK. The rooms are basic cubicles with shower, well maintained and comfortable. Most of their ladies are in their late twenties, nice and accommodating in service. Most of their menus and explanations are in Japanese and Chinese languages. Receptionist is very kind to interpret items for non-Asian customers. A bit annoying was that people are living here and going to massage rooms is a little bit like walking across a residential home.

One of the newest venues opened on Soi 24 right beside competitors Mango, Pink and Orient: Addict Massage. Their violet signs and neon decor provide very comfortable feel for their new shop. Once inside, everything is new and working. It's not one of those run down shops like to many other places in this area. Addict is new and shining with many attractive Thai massage ladies providing full service. Fees are in line with competitors, but they do offer a growing number of attendants since they they started with a small number at the beginning.

It's the newest addition of shops on Sukhumvit's massage Soi 24-1 close to Emporium department store. It's name is derived from it's owner Cherry who has been an outstanding massage therapist at another shop around the corner. Her great reputation is going to continue having an impact on her own ladies who offer massage inside her shop. The Thai townhouse was totally renovated earlier this year and offers great new rooms for comfort and privacy. Cherry is very friendly and will assist with joy to find your perfect masseuse from her team of Bangkok attendants.

Back on busy Soi 22: Rose Massage. This shop is on the right side in a small side alley with signs pointing to their location. It is after May's Reflexology and Elite. It's awhile back that I visited. From what I remember Rose has large therapy rooms for oil therapy and smaller ones for traditional Thai. Their new website is geared towards outside services with photoshop-enhanced images of Thai ladies in their mid to end twenties. From their setup it's a similar showroom shop like BKK48 not too far away.
