|« Soi 24/1 - Bangkok's Massage Heaven||Soi 18 Massage Shops »|
This Soi north of Emporium and Phrom Phong BTS station is hosting many massage parlors. It's very popular with budget tourists of various nationalities as some of the largest Bangkok hotels like Queens Park Imperial and a new Holiday Inn Sukhumvit are right on this street. Most shops are very family oriented places like May Massage and Reflexology, but there are other venues that mainly cater to gentlemen, only: BKK48 and Rose Massage, to mention just 2 of them. It's worth shopping around to find a place to your liking. Tight competition keeps prices at an affordable level.
All shops in this area are very industrial. This means there are a lot of customers and a lot of therapists, but space is very limited. Some houses will only offer shared showers and cubicles are rather small with no hangers. You will need to place your clothes and belongings on the floor. Some shops offer VIP rooms with showers ensuite for an additional fee. Generally, most shops cater to tourists from nearby hotels. Don't be surprised if they do try to ask for higher than normal tips. Just smile and give the regular fee and let them know you are not a newbie.
