PROF. BANCHA BUDDADEE, Ph.D.COMMUNAL WEALTH / SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT / ASOKEPEOPLE / BOONNIYOMISM.The research entitle : An integration of the communal wealth system for thesustainable development: a case study ofAsoke community. The research objective was to explorethe concept of the integration of the communal wealth system in society' culture' economy'politicsandpublicadministrationforthesustainabledevelopment.Theresearchquestionssetforth were how the mechanisms and integration process of communal wealth system in thedimensions of society, economics, political and public administration, and culture were exist andsustained. The qualitative research method was apptied' The focus group discussion and in-depthinterview were conducted in data collection.The research results revealed that:L The communal wealth system could be claimed as a new altemative ofan integratedcommunity development in any level of the society either at present or future situations. Thecommunal wealth community was the state of free from the ownership of property, capital, andmaterials occupancy but conferred to be public belonging. The Asoke collective modes ofproduction, utilization and consumption were making used. There was the assurance of raisingsustainable development in various dimensions. The accumulation of property ownership wascontinuously increased. The truly development was recognized on Dharma. n2.Thecommunalwealthsystemdrawntheconcreterelationshipwiththecommunityeconomic gro*th and assured the food security, properties were sufficient' There was enoughsupply and food security of the community and solving insufficiency, reducing economical gaPamongthemembersandthesustainmentofeithermodesandproducingfactors.Thesurplusreferred to "Merit" or "Boon" (in Thai) according to Boonniyomism'3. The communal wealth system and social process also presented the positiverelations.TherewasanewkinshipsystemcreatedamongthemnamedDharmakinship.Theselforindividualwasexcludedandreptacedwiththewholesomeinstead.Thesocialconflictandselfishness were eliminated. The helping and supportive minded were expressed' These situationsled to the social cohesion and strengthen which created life security and well-being named"Absolute Social Dharma".4. The communal wealth system has applied Dharma in goveming but laws' rules andregulations instead. The meditation processes was applied in problem'solving which led to theminimizing of conflict, peaceful and happiness of the community'5. The communal wealth system has created the new cultural way of life'The members were conformed the life simplicity; minimize consumption, ease of development,devotedness, diligence and creativity continuously'Therewasacrucialnoticedthatthecommunalwealthsysteminsomeactivitiesneeded to be strenglhen in order to bring about absolute communal wealth because of individual'sdifferences in his/her background either physical or mental powerfulness according to theindividual's differences of intellectual, socio-cultural and educational background.The suggestion regarding the applicalion of cornrnunal wealth system in anyintegration development; however, the highly importance and in needed that the corffnunity andpeople must be firstly equipped with Dharma by practice five precepts strictly'i
