Abstract The purpose s of this study were to study the sense of coherences, stress and coping methods of family caregivers for breast cancer patients in Ubon Ratchathani p rovince . This research was descriptive research with cross - sectional survey study . S ample were 310 breast cancer caregivers in Ubon Ratchathani p rovince using stratified r andom s ampling and p urposive s ampling . T echniques . T ools used to collect data were questionaires about sense of coherences ( 29 items ) , stress ( 20 items ) , and coping methods ( 36 items ) Data were analyzed by computer program for frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation . The R esults showed that 1 . T he overall sense of coherence in family caregivers for breast cancer patients was at moderate level ( QUOTE = 4.56 S . D .= 0.55) I n term of meaningfulness at was at high level ( QUOTE = 5.21 , S . D . =0.91) , comprehensibility was at moderate level ( QUOTE = 4.46 , S . D . =0.75) , and manageability was at moderate level ( QUOTE = 4 . 09, S . D . = 0 . 65 ). 2 . In conclusion, the overall sense of coherences, stress and coping methods of family caregivers for breast cancer patients were at moderate level . It is possible that family caregivers for breast cancer patients c an accept and understand the illness and death as the truth of life that everyone must face . Therefore, it can release a dherence . This will result in encourage family caregivers for higher sense of coherence, reduced stress and better coping problems , useful for both family caregivers and breast cancer patients .
